Officers responded to a fire alarm at the 7th St. House. Upon arrival, they determined that steam from a rice pot had set off a smoke detector in the kitchen. There was no evidence of fire or damage and the house was reopened.
A student reported their vehicle had been struck overnight while parked in a Norman Village Lot by an unknown vehicle. Officers inspected surrounding lots but could not find a vehicle with matching damage. No witnesses have come forward at this time.
An Officer on patrol observed damage to a parking lot sign at the entrance to a Norman Village Lot off S. Delaware Ave. It is unknown if this damage is related Report Number 105-14.
An employee’s vehicle was impounded from the Westby Lot by Officers after they observed the vehicle parked in violation and having been previously identified as a frequent violator of the University’s Parking Regulations.
Officers conducted a welfare check on a student in John Mabee Hall after a concerned employee received text messages from the student. Upon making contact with the student, Officers determined the student was only sending religious quotes to friends.
Officers responded to an injured employee at the University School. The employee was struck in the chin by a student’s head during a recess activity. Officers escorted the employee to a local clinic for further evaluation.
An Officer found a pair of sweat pants in the Mabee East Lot. The property will be impounded at Campus Security for safekeeping.
Officers and Tulsa Fire responded to a fire alarm at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Upon arrival, it was determined that burnt popcorn had activated a smoke alarm. No injuries or damage were reported and the house was reopened.
