Football schedule announced
The University of Tulsa has announced the football schedule for the 2015 fall season, which includes home games against Florida Atlantic, Houston, Louisiana Monroe, Memphis, UCF and Navy. This will be the first season that the American conference uses a two-division set up for football, as Navy will become a football only member. Football season kicks off on Sept. 5 against old Conference-USA foe, Florida Atlantic, who beat the Hurricane last season.
Tennis roundup
The men’s tennis team traveled to Oklahoma State to play against the 32nd ranked Cowboys, losing narrowly 3–4. After the teams of Carlos Bautista, Alejandro Espejo and Or Ram-Harel, Juan Matias Gonzalez won their matches to take the doubles point, the Golden Hurricane could only take 2 points off the singles matches, while OSU was able to take the first 4 to win the match. Since the men’s Sunday game against Texas A&M was cancelled because of rain, their overall record sits at 6–5. The women also lost a close match 4–3 to OSU, their fourth straight, but bounced back with a dominating 7–0 win against Stephen F. Austin on Sunday afternoon.
Golf starts off with a 304

Senior Matt Mabrey leads the Hurricane, shooting a 71 (-1) on the day which was good enough for 11th on the individual side. The next two rounds will be played on Sunday and Monday, before the Golden Hurricane travel to Alabama for the Tiger Invitational.
