Recently published files reveal TU mascot had history with Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.
Inside of the trove of the Epstein Files most recently released by the Department of Justice, beloved University of Tulsa mascot Augustus Tee has made a disheartening appearance. Letters were unveiled between Mr. Tee and Jeffrey Epstein in reference to his attendance at Donald Trump’s private casino at Mar-a-Lago on Sept. 12, 1987.
After a tough loss to the Florida Gators in a 52-0 football game, a saddened Gus T. decided that the night was still young. He convinced some of his buddies from the football team to take a miniature road trip from Gainesville to Palm Beach to enjoy the remainder of their vacation. The bunch stole the TU sponsored bus from their hotel parking lot and disappeared into the hot, humid Floridian night.
Once the Oklahoman squad arrived at Palm Beach, Gus T. insisted that they check out Clematis Street, a well-known upscale clubbing area. While walking across Clematis Street and taking in the atmosphere, the group reportedly encountered two strange, old, rich business men. They introduced themselves as neighbors and best friends: Donald J. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. According to the interviewed alumni, Gus T. then split off from the group. Augustus Tee was reported to have been seen by local residents stumbling out of the Mar-a-Lago estate at roughly 4:23 a.m, Sept. 13, 1987.
What brought all of this to light was an intimate email, addressed to Augustus Tee, being exposed in the latest trove released in the Epstein files. Inside of the email, sent on Dec. 13, 1998 was an invitation to Epstein’s infamous sex ring, party island. Verbatim, the letter contained the following:

Little is known about whether or not Gus T. accepted the invitation. When asked for a comment, Mr. Tee refused.
“I will not entertain such inflammatory accusations. I went to Palm Beach almost 40 years ago and have not returned,” he proclaimed in an agitated fashion.
“We don’t know the full story, yet, but the Hurricane that I know would never indulge in such heinous things. We can’t jump to any conclusions,” implored a local mascot that wished to remain anonymous.
More is to be revealed in upcoming weeks regarding Gus T.’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Stay in the loop with this breaking story by reading weekly news reports by The Collegian.
