Here’s some updates from your friendly neighborhood SA, to keep you updated on what’s going on and what’s planned for TU.
Mike Neal, the director of Dining Services, has talked to SA about adding a freezer to the C store to begin selling ice cream.
This month is both pride and Indigenous People’s month. For Pride month, there will be another event this Wednesday, Lorton 207 and panels November 17th and 29th. The first will be an academic panel, and the second will be a student-led panel. For Indigenous People’s month, there will be a dreamcatcher making even in the Hurricane Plaza on the 7th. On the 13th, a Native American will tell stories by the fires in ACAC. After Thanksgiving break, on December 2nd, there will be a powwow.
Health sciences majors, law students, graduate students or anyone living in an apartment is encouraged to joined SA senate.
SA also will give organizations Christmas lights to hang on trees, beginning November 30th.
New clubs: Indigenous Cultural Society, Coriolis Force (all-women ultimate frisbee team) and TU Rotaract club (college-based club sponsored by Rotary club).
